Medium-length surf inspired swallow-tail cruiser with Slant surf/skate trucks for a surf-like carving experience.

Longer in length with a fairly long wheelbase, the Chromantic set up as a surf/skate board offers a stable, easy flowing surf-like carving experience. It’s a great board choice for beginner to intermediate surf/skate riders and larger riders.

With the sure footing of its 65mm conical wheels and mellow deck concave it makes wider predictable turns, but the swallow tail adds a nice playful punch. The deck features lo-fi art by Max Loeffler over dye washed maple veneers.

MATERIALS:

  • 33" x 9.5" x 19"wb
  • Resin-7 hard rock maple
  • Mellow side to side concave
  • Slant Surf Skate Trucks
  • 65mm 83a Conical wheels
  • Split black griptape with top print
  • Dye washed veneers
  • Featured artist Max Loeffler

For the riders of concrete, oceans, and mountains - modern explorers of the globe.

Beginning in the mid 1980s with the design, production and distribution of third party brands in Australia with Hardcore Enterprises, Melbourne’s Hill brothers: Stephen, Peter and Matt, created a global boardsports brand of their own, first with shoes for skaters and surfers in the mid 1990s and then with apparel and hardgoods for the broader market.

With design centres and concept stores in Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Los Angeles and Hossegor, Globe is now sold by selected retailers in more than 100 countries worldwide. To that effect, we have partnered with the National Forest Foundation (NFF) to donate to their tree-planting program. Globe’s yearly donations to the NFF help plant more than three times the amount of trees we harvest annually in making our skateboards.

The NFF is a United States non-profit organisation that launched an ambitious campaign to plant 50 million trees across public National Forests between 2018 and 2023. The NFF partners with the United States Forest Service to target National Forests impacted by wildfire, pests and other disturbances. Globe is proud to be making a contribution towards that effort.
